Run With Us!

Fancy giving running a go in 2026? Are you looking for some friendly faces to run with, some advice and support on how to get started or meet your running goals. Why not join us for a run?
On dark winters evenings, motivation can be difficult, or maybe you are concerned about running on your own. We can help! At BBDRC we offer a range of regular sessions for beginners and experienced runners, including adult (over 15 yrs) effort sessions on Tuesdays at 5-30 and 6-30 pm, and Fridays at 10am.
Or maybe you fancy trying our Thursday evening social runs, group runs at a range of paces, there is something for everyone, including our Gentle Social Run, a run/walk pattern for those who have some fitness and wish to stay active. In these sessions no-one is left behind.
We also have a Monday morning buggy run for runners with preschool children (over 6 months).
You can find our full schedule of runs, here.
Our running club signed up to the England Athletics initiative, ‘Let’s Lift the Curfew’ in October to call attention to the unwanted curfew many women feel during the darker months, when safety concerns limit their freedom to get active outdoors. If you want to run in a safe and friendly environment, come and run with us.
As a new runner you just need to turn up at the club for one of our session, you will be given a warm welcome and can give it a go for free to see what you think before joining us.
